The American Public Works Association announced the winners of its national 2016 Public Works Projects of the Year awards. Mead & Hunt’s project, the Bud Hendrickson Memorial Nature Trail and Pedestrian Bridge won the Small Cities – Rural Communities Projects of the Year in the Structures award category.
Each year, APWA presents the Public Works Projects of the Year awards to promote excellence in the management and administration of public works projects, recognizing the alliance between the managing agency, the contractor, the consultant and their cooperative achievements. This year’s winners will be recognized during APWA’s PWX which takes place August 28-31 in Minneapolis.
