The Town of Ledgeview’s population quadrupled over two decades, prompting the desire for progressive, attractive plans for economic development. Our municipal planning experts guided the Zoning Planning Commission members in identifying their key issues to define and clarify the town’s vision.
The Comprehensive Plan Update contained organized goals and outcomes in a visually appealing format that was unanimously adopted. Our planners applied their expertise in public outreach, completing a community survey, engagement session and mapping forum to provide the full body of data necessary for planning.
Ledgeview, founded as an agricultural community, has a reputation for strong municipal services, million-dollar views, and outstanding natural amenities. While these remain important defining characteristics of the community, its location at the southern edge of the Green Bay Metropolitan Area offers strategic benefits and many opportunities for growth. For example, the town adopted a project plan for Tax Incremental District Number 1 funds in an area of mixed-use retail and office condominiums containing original and replica nineteenth century buildings. The funds are designated for site preparation and attracting development to this high-profile CTH GV corridor.
