Food & Beverage Group Leader
Greg Marconnet leads the Food and Beverage Group to deliver quality engineering of intrinsic value to our clients. His nearly 40-year career in the food processing industry includes working in and supporting food processing plants with facility design, maintenance practices, equipment design, sanitation and sanitary design. Currently he is the Chair of the Education Committee for 3-A Sanitary Standards, Inc.
Managing a large and diverse technical team, Greg said, “We have depth to quickly and nimbly address food industry drivers – manufacturing capacity, food safety, cost control and energy and environment. Our bench strength allows us to serve clients better.” Mead & Hunt is currently managing about 100 food and beverage projects nationwide, including large, ammonia-cooled refrigeration systems.
Greg enjoys mentoring young engineers both at work and through youth initiatives. He supports STEM activities as a local, state and national bridge and tower building event supervisor for Science Olympiad.
