John Rathke was recently elected Vice Chair of the National American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Board. In his new role, John will oversee the governance of the organization, as well as work with Member Organizations (MOs) to further the ACEC’s strategic vision. In addition, John will serve on the ACEC Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He looks forward to providing continued outreach to all industries within the engineering profession. The newly elected Vice Chairs will be inducted at ACEC’s Annual Conference in April.
John serves as the Midwest Transportation Business Unit Leader and is a Principal and Vice President for Mead & Hunt. He has been with the firm since 1992. John has been an active member of ACEC Wisconsin for years, serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chair of the Wisconsin Transportation Leadership Committee, and Chair of the Wisconsin Transportation Steering Committee.
Due to his demonstrated personal commitment to the engineering profession and participation in ACEC at the national level, including serving on the Transportation Steering Committee, John is also a member of the ACEC College of Fellows.
