Mid-America Association of State Transportation Officials rock 2017 conference

Posted in: Bridges, Education, Highways, Infrastructure

I am excited to be here at the 108th annual Mid-America Association of State Transportation Officials conference along with 655 other attendees for a full week of professional growth, vocational advancement and a little bit of rockin’ entertainment.

MAASTO is a Midwestern transportation group with 10 member states that aims to foster development, operations and maintenance of our transportation system. This conference is a great opportunity for transportation engineers to gather together and discuss recent changes in our industry, like:

  • The implementation of autonomous vehicles
  • Emerging technology use for Transportation System Management and Operations
  • Smart work zone deployments

This year, MAASTO attendees flocked to Cleveland, Ohio – home of the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame – to catch up on trends in transportation. If you’re at the conference, stop by Mead & Hunt booth #1 to catch a glimpse of our “celebrity” guest, play Rock’n’Roll trivia and find out why #MHRocks.

Rock on!
